Biography

Professor Liang Xiaojian has been engaged in plastic and aesthetic surgery for more than 20 years and has completed nearly 10,000 various aesthetic surgeries to date. He is a physician in the Medical Cosmetology “Specialty and Special Technique” Program and one of the regional inheritors and advocates of Dallas rhinoplasty techniques. He has studied at multiple aesthetic and plastic surgery hospitals in South Korea and has shared techniques on the same stage with Korean physicians including Professor Zheng Dongxue and other physicians, receiving high praise. He has also been invited several times to South Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asian countries for academic exchanges, maintains close ties with renowned plastic surgeons worldwide, and has performed surgeries alongside plastic surgeons from South Korea, Japan, Portugal, Russia, and other countries. At the 2017 Dallas Rhinoplasty Academic Symposium, Vice President Liang Xiaojian shared “The Application of Costal Cartilage in Rhinoplasty Revision.” In his presentation, he particularly emphasized the necessity of preoperative three-dimensional reconstructed CT of the costal cartilage. He said this can intuitively show whether the costal cartilage is calcified, clearly display the intercartilaginous spaces and cartilage morphology, and provide good reference and guidance for cartilage harvesting, thereby reducing complications. It avoids sudden intraoperative changes to the surgical plan caused by blind harvesting of calcified cartilage.

Professor Liang said, “A truly ideal nose should integrate the art of human body shaping. In addition to changing the height of the nasal bridge, it should also take into account the angles and curves of the nasal tip, nasal alae, and other areas, and more importantly, conform to the proportions of the entire facial contour.
